Air America currently does aerial imagery for Pictometry® and Galileo Group, Inc. How Can I Get Involved With Aerial Imaging?
Air America is currently recruiting pilots for its Aerial Imaging business. Pilots wishing to get involved in aerial imaging need to be reliable, self-sufficient, and great team players. The current minimum requirements for pilots are:- Commercial Pilot Certificate - ASEL-IA
- Current Second Class Medical
- Ability to Live/Work in the United States
- Current Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) Certificate
- 500 Hours Flight Time
- 100 Hours Cross-Country Time
- 50 Hours Instrument (Actual and/or Simulated)
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communications Skills
Note: If you do not meet these preferred requirements do not be discouraged, Air America is looking for certain types of personality as described above and not just individuals that meet certain number requirements.
